Fintech firm Identitii (ASX:ID8) has lodged a patent infringement claim in the United States.

The company’s grievance is centered around ‘Onyx by JP Morgan Chase,’ which allegedly infringes on Identitii’s U.S.

patent.

To contest the infringement, Identitii has employed the Californian law firm Bunsow de Mory LLP to act as their representative.

The litigation funding, Identitii states, will not affect the company’s standard working capital requirements.

Additionally, they note that the patent infringement claim should not interrupt the forward momentum of their core strategy.
