Lightning Minerals (ASX:L1M) has made significant changes to its executive board.

Peter McNeil, the company’s non-executive chairman, has resigned from his directorial position.

A new Chief Executive Officer, Alex Biggs, has been appointed.

Until a new permanent chairman is selected, non-executive director Craig Sharpe will fill in as the interim Chairman of the Board.

Furthermore, Alex Biggs will also take on the role of Managing Director.
