Freight rail transport company, Aurizon (ASX:AZJ):
welcomes today’s decision by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to approve Aurizon’s acquisition of One Rail Australia.
The acquisition was originally announced on 22 October 2021.
The ACCC has also:
accepted Aurizon’s undertaking to divest ORA’s east coast rail haulage business as part of the transaction.
