The Olaroz Stage 2 achieved first wet production in mid-July and will continue its commissioning and ramp up over the next 12-18 months. Mt Cattlin, another facility operated by Allkem, achieved an annual production of 130,984 tonnes of spodumene concentrate. The ore reserve update confirms an additional 4-5 year mine life until 2027-2028. Sales for the September quarter are expected to be materially higher from Olaroz Stage 1. The company has received regulatory approval for the mining of the first cutback (Stage 4-1) of the open pit at Mt Cattlin, ensuring continued spodumene production until 2026.

July 27 (Reuters) - Pilot Energy Ltd:

Pilot Energy Ltd (ASX:PGY) has announced plans to acquire Triangle Energy’s interest in the Cliff Head Oilfield JV.

Under the agreement, Triangle Energy will receive staged consideration payments, including A$3 million and A$4.5 million in cash milestone payments from Pilot Energy. Triangle Energy will also retain exposure to the CCS project through royalties.
